About Me

Okezi received her Medical degree from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and her Master of Public Health from Emory University, Atlanta.

Her interest in research stemmed from a flair for data and realizing its vast potential to inform health promotion, disease treatment, and policy development. She has led projects at various phases of the research lifecycle, and her work has examined chronic disease risk factors, highlighted peculiarities in women’s heart health, and evaluated program/policy effectiveness.

Okezi’s career goal is to develop data- and technology-driven solutions that facilitate quality patient-centered care delivery and improve public health outcomes.

In her free time, Okezi enjoys reading and traveling.
