About Me

Pragya, who was born and raised in Michigan, received her undergraduate degree in Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Michigan and her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, with a concentration in infectious diseases, from Boston University School of Public Health.

Pragya first learned about epidemiology during a microbiology lab simulating pathogen transmission, and knew she wanted to get involved with the field outside of bench research. She is drawn to clinical research because she aspires to improve health outcomes, prevent diseases, and enhance patient empowerment. In the future, she aspires to build technical programming skills, contribute to impactful research, and be part of a team that values growth and having fun along the way.

Pragya spends her time outside of work exploring the outdoors hiking, backpacking, running, and skiing. She also enjoys reading, fiber arts (such as knitting, crocheting, and embroidery), yoga, and of course, serving her cat’s every whim and fancy.
