About Me
Yanting, who is originally from China, received her undergraduate degree from the Health Science Center and her PhD in Physiology from the College of Life Sciences at Peking University in Beijing, China.
Yanting’s career in clinical research was inspired by her interest in the process of drawing conclusions with evidence and logic. Her primary research interests lie at the intersection of healthcare data analytics and patient outcomes. She focuses on leveraging statistical methods and advanced data modeling to uncover insights from clinical and epidemiological data. Her work supports data-driven decision-making in medical research, with the emphasis on improving patient care, identifying risk factors for disease, and evaluating the effectiveness of treatments and interventions. In the past, Yanting has worked on projects that research dermatology, emergency medicine, gynecology, ophthalmology, and pediatrics, but she is open to working on any and all clinical research topics. Her future goals are to further advance her expertise in statistical analysis.
In her free time, Yanting enjoys going to amusement parks with her daughter and exploring new food and places.
