About Me

Belia grew up in Oakland, CA and received her B.A. in Statistics from the University of California at Davis.

Belia began her career as a marketing and credit-risk analyst, but when confronted with financial industry-wide layoffs she decided to explore alternative professional fields, including healthcare and clinical research. This led her to volunteer at the Berkeley Free Clinic where she managed labs, and at a small community health-care system in Winters, CA, where she worked as their sole data analyst.

In her current career, she looks forward to expanding her knowledge of Kaiser Permanente’s data systems, building out her analytic toolkit, and refining her data-extraction skills with ever more efficient techniques.

In her free time, Belia enjoys attending her kids’ sports games and practices, taking family road trips, and exploring local attractions. She also enjoys dancing, paddling, volleyball, and attending live musical performances.
