Jean Flores, DrPH, MPH
Managerial Consultant IV
About Me
Jean grew up in the Intermountain Region of the United States but has called the San Francisco Bay Area home for most of her adult life. She has a Doctor of Public Health degree in Health Policy and Management from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Master of Public Health degree focused on Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of California, Berkeley.
For many years, Jean worked as a consultant at Kaiser Permanente’s Care Management Institute, where she had the opportunity to work with clinical leaders, operations leaders, and researchers on “translational” projects that tested and scaled research into practice. While this work was rewarding, she found herself increasingly drawn to research study design and implementation and consequently decided to pursue a postdoctoral fellowship in preparation for transitioning to a career focused on clinical research. Going forward, Jean wishes to support and mentor early researchers while continuing to pursue additional research interests.
In her free time, she enjoys doing cross-fit, exploring nature, skiing, traveling abroad, and spending time with family.
