About Me
Kathy was born and raised in the Bay Area and received her Bachelor’s degree in Science in Global Public Health from Dominican University of California and her Master of Public Health in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from the University of Southern California.
Prior to her current role as a data analyst, Kathy was a research assistant for cardiovascular research and enjoyed observing the impact that data-driven insights have on improving patient outcomes and advancing medical knowledge. She decided to advance her career in clinical research when she realized she could contribute novel information about new treatments and therapies that can positively impact people’s lives. In her current role, Kathy appreciates the opportunity to learn about different topics to expand her knowledge and research interests. Her long-term career goal is to make meaningful contributions to health research and expand her analytical skillset using SAS and other programming languages.
Kathy’s favorite hobbies include Pilates, watching TV, and trying out different types of surfing, such as wake surfing or kite surfing.
