Linda Sancrant

Linda Sancrant, BS
Research Specialist III, Research Support
About Me
Linda was born and raised in Sacramento, CA and received her Bachelor’s degree in Global Disease Biology and minor in Public Health Sciences at the University of California at Davis.
While at UC Davis, Linda discovered that her interests and coursework in One Health, an interdisciplinary and collaborative way of looking at human, animal, and environmental health, complemented her coursework in public health. Linda gained research experience in both areas with projects focused on wildfires and disease modeling for viral hemorrhagic fevers. These research experiences opened her eyes to the vastness of public health and drove her to pursue a position at Kaiser Permanente Division of Research. In her current Research Associate role, Linda leads the design of media for the impactful dissemination of BSCU-supported research findings on their social media platforms, in quarterly newsletters, and in annual reports. Linda’s passions for research, human, animal, and environmental health motivate her to pursue a Master’s degree in the near future.
In her free time, Linda enjoys taking her dogs out on walks and drives, hiking, camping, spending time with her nieces, and going out with her partner!
